85 extra cab dual cases rear drive shaft ?

anyone run the 2 piece driveshaft (front part shortened) on the 85 extra cab with dual cases or just have a single made

i would have a single one made, the 2 piece is marginal at best, and usually plaged with issues in stock for, much less shortened

I have a single driveline in my '84 Xtra cab. Works nice too! When I first ditched the 2 piece shaft (even before doing duals) The first thing I noticed was how much firmer the clutch engagement felt because it didn't have that mushy rubber support in the middle of the driveline.  :thumbs:

thx for the advise guys, looks like i won't be wasting my time with the split shaft and just get the single one made up

Single shaft , and Mabe you can clock your rear axil a little to ge a better driveline angle
At least my buddy did , but the long wheelbase is going to be sweet !
