Just got a set of new shoes General grabbers 285/75/16 for my 04 Tacoma weighs about 3750 lbs lbs, i got my new shoes air to 46psi up front and 49 lbs in the rear i used the ORA calculator in there July issue but to me they still seem low. the rides nice. My fear is they will wear to fast, anyone that could offer some advice or whats worked for them  i would greatly appreciate it.

Unless you're hauling a couple thousand pounds in your taco, there's no good reason for you to be over 40 psi, and assuming they're an LT rated tire you'd probably be better off around 35.

Check the drivers door for factory pressure, with stock tire size.
Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?

The factory tire pressure 26psi front 29 in the rear. way to low for a 33 inch tire upgrade. almost looks flat.

I have 33x12.50-15 on my 4by and run down to about 25 psi, but have them at 32-28 for better mileage.  You can't go on looks with a radial.  I have probably 30 or more people pull up to the shop for air checks each day saying either they thought their tires looked low or somebody else told them they looked low.  Tires be what I do

And let us know how you like those grabbers, I'm still pretty curious about them!

Word hard, Keep your head in the game and if anyone gets in your way tell them you don't give a damn !

since they are still new, do the chalk test

you can't tell how much air it has, because it "looks" low

we had a forklift at work, that is a 10,000 pound rated capacity, off-road forklift, it uses 40 psi  in the rear, while transporting loads, it looks flat... but 40 psi in the rear is what it uses.....

FOr the same load a bigger tire needs less pressure, a smaller tire needs more. THAt is Why the small spare for a car can take 60 psi
