any xr10's out there?

i got one.  Havent broken anything except the rear diff gear that the axles go into.twice.  It sure does get old breaking those.  Ill post pics up when im at 11 posts

I broke one of those. I replaced it with the machined gear from CKRC. They're a little pricy but those stock gears are so easy to break and such a pregnant dog to change.

Transmission gear once and the final drive gear once. And bearings inside the tranny

Yeah I deff hear you on that I changed all mine to RC4WD gears. I had actually shimmed the main drive bearings in the axel to bring the gear pitch closer on those final drive gears. When you get it apart and install the new gear, take a piece of plain printer paper and cut two little thin pieces off it that are the same width of the bearings. With a little dab of glue, glue them to where the bearing sits in the axel, then place the bearings on top an slap it all together .  Works perfect

The first time I blew the gears on my XR, I sent shrapnel threw the axel hahaha I was stunned.
