You know, I put AAL's in my spring packs to make them more streetable and then I used Rancho 9000's so I can turn them up until I got the ride I wanted. It's not 100% perfect (but what is, right?) but it is definitely manageable on the street and I have room to adjust them still when I load a buncha :pokinit: in the back! :gap:

I figure getting a shock that doesnt suck ( 5150's are trash) and getting rid of the pivot blocks would make the rig handle better by alot. You have to figure you have a top heavy rig by nature, You lifted it, put bigger tires and added even more weight in the way of bumpers/tools/gear/whatever.  Removing that huge hinge of looseness (pivot blocks) should alone make it alot better.

I think and feel you are going in the wrong direction with adding a sway bar, Because really its just a band aid in a leaf spring setup. I could see if you were linked with coils/coilovers.

I DD my rig. Its RUF and 4 link out back with coils and cheap as :pokinit: shocks ( Procrap es1000's) i dont run a sway bar and im on 40" boggers. It runs true down the road with no weird sway or anything. hardly any roll in the corners.  If i can do this you can make your chevies work =P

huge hinge of looseness (pivot blocks)

thanks for the input but I cant concentrate with that bird going all crazy

as far as removing the " hinge of looseness "  thats a last resort but a good idea, Im gonna do as Big Mike did and make a pivot stop, so on the road they wont sway back and forth
