This Flex-a-lite Black Magic Electric Fans is a direct bolt-in and wire-it-up install.  I have been running one in my '90 for 13yrs now, and have never had any issues with it.  It comes with an adjustable thermostat, and its own relay.  It is also set up so you can wire an on/off switch, so you can turn it on w/the engine off.  Don't waste your time with any of the cheap auto parts store fans, they don't move enough cfm to adequately cool the 3.0.

Don't expect a difference in power, certainly not the claimed gain in ponies, it takes a lot of individual and expensive things to gain HP wit the 3.0.

Black Magic fan installed.
