exterior roll cage???

if i wanted to build a exterior roll cage would it be better to make long pieces with lots of bends or shorter pieces that are welded up everywhere?
if the wheelin isn't hard then find a new rock

Long pieces, triangulated for strength.

Long pieces will be stronger, less weld point to stress. and will probably look better since you wont have as many weld lines.
