Im putting 4.7s in and was wondering how you get your cases so clean. Can I just put those covers in degreeser or will that mess up those seals that arent included with the 4.7s?

Do tell. :stopit:

I have a friend who has a transmission shop. They put parts in an ultrasonic cleaner, and use (get this now) dishwasher soap and water. You wouldn't believe how clean the parts come out. Just dry them with heat and coat the steel with WD40.

We run them in a parts washer for an hour. Then we bead blast the parts and rinse with water.
