Topic: Liking Window Internet Explorer 9

I had been having issues with the version of ie I had here at work so I decided to upload any new updates I could find for it. Well what I found was IE9 64 bit so I decided to give it a shot. So I've been using it for about 20 min. here and am pretty impressed, they have reconfigured the whole thing and it looks and runs more like my Firefox at home. I wish I could run FF here but it is not compatible with the city so I have to run ie, runs a lot faster now and the only issue was some of the axtive X controls which I was able to upgrade and now even those are running faster. A good example was watching any video like Youtube and such, they now load bullet fast.

yea it's "okay"   it's still IE so don't get too excited..lol...

certainly a step in the right direction.

Has it been out for 6 months yet?

I like to wait at least 6 months so most of the bugs are already found..................

i've had it for atleast 2 months now with little issues, other than it's much slower then all the other browsers... and has issues displaying lettering (spaced evenly that is)

for instance.. sometimes when i'm on this forum and i'm looking at a post a person's signature may run into the person belows comment... also the font likes to change size every once in awhile...

Its decent. I like it better than IE 8. It took some gettin use to but overall I like most of it.

Funny those were the problems that I was having with the old version here, now everything is where it belongs. Even the avatars were f'ed up before and now they are all in order.

I gave up on slow IE and went with Google Chrome, much faster loads and has goodies IE does not.

I can't use anything but IE here so I have no choice, still running much better than the old crap though.

i use google chrome a majority of the time except this web forum... i hate downloading pictures that i'd like to see posted on a thread.
