Double shackles is old school. Pull leafs out and mess with the shackle angles. I'm running 3rd gen RUF with 63s and i can get on a 42 without pullin a tire on 38s. There's more to it than slappin leafs in it. Hanger location, shackle angle, etc. It's all about down travel.

ive got double shackles in the rear of mine with tg 4 inch and the double doesnt really help much cause the spring just wont unload, im planning to pull out at least three leaves, that should help a lot. i agree with yota_krawler, a mixed pack is the way to go. too soft? add some, too stiff? pull some out
