So here is the beginning of the engine cage. I figured we would start on the driver's side because it would be the harder side to build with the steering having to make it's way through there some how.

Here is how we are beafing up the upper coilover mounts to hold the weight of the truck. These will be all boxed in when done.

A few more shots with a better camera. Everything is just tacked in for now and we haven't done to much of the gusseting yet. The bump shock can will be getting some gusseting and we are working on how we are going to move the energy around that bump can in a frontal impact so we don't pinch it.

We are going to keep it with the steering box and we bought everything from PSC Motorsports to up-grade it to a ram assist steering.

It was a busy summer that didn't allow us to get down to work on the truck much. Paul, myself, and two others on our team did some work on the truck and some cleaning up/organizing in the shop recently. I think we are finally done going backwards on the truck...... No more cutting things off! It's all been cut.

We had our buddy build and cut out the pieces for our new cross member that runs between the new rear lower a-arm mounts with his CAD driven plasma cutter. The pieces were waiting for us when we got there so we put the bends in the bottom piece and welded it all up. Here it is.

We also made the front mounts for the links in the rear. We don't know what we are going to run for a wheel base yet so we will mount them up later. They have a piece that will weld onto the mount and go under the frame as well.  We will also be beefing up the holes where the bolt goes through to mount the front of the links so they don't become oval.

Here is a new use for rock lights!  We are using them as work lights around the truck!







Updated the centerlink in the steering for the steering ram and barely fit it in there!







Steering column and dash are coming along.

They are 35" tires and yes.... 25.5 inches of rear travel and 15.5 inches in the front!
