True, true...

Y'all think the State of Jefferson will ever come to be? And would it be any different than California, Oregon or Washington...would it be less big gubmint.

There's a bit of a push for it, and *in theory* I'd like to think it could happen. But in reality, I tend to doubt it. If it did happen, I'd expect (or hope for) more personal freedoms and much less government oversight, at the very least.
But then I think of stuff like "the grass is always greener" and "be careful what you wish for". And the little voice in my head tells me we would become one of the poorest states in the nation.

I just have a feeling the road to statehood would be incredibly long, convoluted, and difficult.... and the process much more complex than many of its backers may realize.
My goal in life is to be as a good a person as my dog already thinks I am.

If you don't learn something every day, you're not paying attention.

will never happen, the MAN would never allow it, why would all the shot callers in so cal want to loose the revenue norcal brings them? we are just a bunch of tax paying nobody rednecks, that's how they see it.  We can dream cant we? And I will always support it, if for nothing else but because I have the rights-we?

I go to St Vincents in Little Rock Wednesday for tests and they have a room for me that night then they will be cutting my chest open for double bypass and a new aortic valve at 7am Thursday morning.
My daughter Taylor is going to drive Tina and I up there so Tina isnt trying to drive in Little Rock by herself.
My brother is staying home to keep my little ankle biters under control and so he doesnt have to walk those long hallways.
I am extremely nervous but the last few days I have grown weaker and although I dread another surgery I can't wait to feel better to recover and to regain my strength. If you have a prayer list at church please add me this Sunday.
thank you.

I have had a lot of patients have the same surgery. They all have said how much better that they feel after. They also said they had a huge increase in energy.
