I have an 86 Pickup with 22R, runs great currently, although wont pass smog, no cat, weber carb...etc. So before I put money into trying to get it to pass smog I am seriously considering swaping to EFI, because currently with 35s and custom bumpers/sliders I am not getting all that great of mileage either. The power is good, but I would like to have EFI. I have done many searches on 4x4wire/Yotatech and here but never found a thorough website or description of all the parts I would need to aquire to do this successfully.
I know i need the efi fuel system, exhaust, and manifold, computer/harness...what about gas tank? camshaft?
thanks!

You will need to update your fuel tank,,the efi tanks has the electic pump you will want to use..The wire harness will need some mods but that about it..Let me find a good write up I saw,,I'll post it for ya..
Forgiveness is between them and god..
Its my job to arrange the meeting!

Brian   first ?  where are you??
next,  how much power do you want??  185 is tops for stock efi,  but thats is a big boost,     are you rock crawling,  low end torque,  or mud good low end and lots of HP??

efi is best for crawlers cause it can practically run smooth upside down

www.lcengineering.com    has flow matched injectors and cams for you to get max power, if you have the laser block i think all you need to change is the intake and efi fuel pump, head and block are basically the same

THe block I think is the same, but there are afew holes missing in the head.  Marlin drilled them in mine when he rebuilt it so I have the option later to switch
