I know this subject has already been brought up, however I did not see anyone bring up the fact that woarn sells hubs for toyotas. And Im assuming that there HUB FUSE system can be installed in any of the hubs they sell. I know this is not a "cure all" for birfileds but may help keep things simple on the trail.

:flamer:  Ya if you have put in or plan to put in an eleminator kit you can also use u-joints that are weaker then the axles.  That way you "SHOULD" break the warn fuse or the u-joint before you break an axle. I think crawling in the mud replacing a u-joint is easier then trying to dig a broken axle out of a housing..  :twocents:

Heres the problem with the warn fuses. When going straight, they are weaker than a U joint. BUt when your at full lock, they are weaker.

When is it again that you break birfields or U joints?

Ya...

I just wanted some input, i figure there is a reason people do not use them. Atleast the people I meet. Kinda like the revolver shackles, oh cool there things are awesome- then the next month there removing them. Keep it simple stupid right?
