Alright I'm going to be ordering some 4.7 gears soon but have a question. I want to eventually run dual cases, but my current case is a forward shifting. I know I can use the forward shifter as the front case on a dual setup, but my question is that I eventually want to use the case with the 4:7s in it in the dual setup. So should I get a top-shifter, put the 4:7s in there and then I can use that case as the rear when I eventually go duals?
Also, will the top shift case bolt right up even though I have a forward shift in there now? If not what do I need?

you can fairly easily convert it to a top shifter - I did it on case..
