CHUCKEE, yes you can do that mod to a toyota steering  box..not to the pump  hope you kept the IFS steering box from the donor truck i believe you have to tap into 2 places on the box top/side....ck under homebrew hyd assist for a toyota truck for details...hafa when are you goin' to finish your project so we can start hitting the trail later dude

he was asking about the pump mods to up the pressure and volume not about tapping for hydro assist.

Ya I saved the gear box..Damn right

Ya know Joey at mobil mini mart..That 22R I gave him for getting me the truck..He traded the engine for a primer job on his truck  :bull crap:

I should have given that motor to Phil...


I should have saved the rear from that one ton G30 van...Corp 21  14 bolt....Parts are hard to come by here I should know better.

Derek that's what I want..I am afraid that if I go with the ram. I may lose the natural feel of the road..So I was thinking maybe get a higher pump out put. With that my concern is that if I get more pump volume or flow. My pressure will take a hit. I don't think thats good.
