E-brake cable problem
« on: Jan 20, 2005, 12:09:55 PM »
I put a 88 wide axle in my 82 shortbed 4WD and also stretched the wheelbase about 8-9", the stock e-brake cable is WAY to short now.  Can I replace the rear section of the ebrake assembly with a 86up long bed cable?  I'm thinking thats the only way to hook it back up. Please help  :help:

Yes

so that will work, is there any specific year I should look for?  I'm guessing 86-94 are all the same.  Thanks again for any info!!!
