Thanks man, sold it a few months ago as I always have a buggy or two and just wasn't using it very much, but damn I regret it.  I just picked up a new project that will hopefully end up just as clean...a second gen. body on a first gen. frame with a 4.3/4L60e combo.  I far prefer 1st gens, but have two kids and the four doors will be really nice for awhile.  I'll start a build thread in the next couple days.

What spring setup did you have on the First gen runner?  are those 37's?

Yea, 37's on 4 inch springs at 106" wb with a little trimming and rear fender work.

wow!  impressive.  Is that really a sherrif's rig?  I would expect them to be in their shiny tj's.  I like this.

You are correct.  The Turbo trucks didn't get the digital cluster.  They did have a different cluster though with a boost light.

I could be wrong, but I drove a friend's Turbo extra cab 4 or 5 years ago and I am almost 100% possitive it had the full digital dash. I remember it because it was the only Toyota I ever drove with the digital dash. Maybe it was an option or perhaps her dad put the dash in. No one I know has a factory Turbo truck or 4runner anymore though.

Here is my 1985 4runner that I just purchased.  Pretty well bone stock (except for wheels, and a few other things).  I could'nt  beliieve it when I saw it down in California how clean it is.

I will be doing some modifications in the next few years (lift kit, lockers front and rear, dual cases); although I almost don't want to modify it as it is so nice.

Power Tank Steve's (owner of Power Tank Company) rig that is a little banged up after he flopped it on the Dusy. This rig went on the first Petersons Ultimate Adventure, been written up in many magazines and covers. It was all straight and repainted about a month later. It has been flopped three times twice on the Con, once on the slabs and doing the Soup Bowl.

Yeah, you're rig is pretty clean!  Here's a pic of us parked next to each other after running Hells Revenge.  CrankyCrawler's 84 truck on the right is also one of the cleanest pickup's I've ever seen!  Mine was the ugly one for sure next to these 2 :)
