i have an A340F in a T100.  it has the chain driven case.  if i swap out to marlin's gear cases and use dual cases with all his adapters, how much longer will my entire unit be than stock?  i am trying to map out my plan to solve some driveline issues and carrier bearing issues.  i am going to swap to the dual case setup mentioned, but want to think forward as to how i will be able to set up the rear driveshaft.  with my current setup, it is 66" flange to flange which is too long for a one piece shaft with 2.75" tube.  i want to figure out how much shorter it will be with the dual case setup.  thanks

On a mini truck just adding a 2nd case 6'' more so this would prob work out to 6"-8" more this is a guess because I have no idea how long the chain case is.
Im assuming you what to go with dual gear drives not gear drive mated to you origanal chain?

okay, that helps.   now i need to know how much length the adapter adds.  maybe 2"??  then i need to know the difference in length (if any) between a chain driven case and a gear driven case.

2-3/8 for the adapter and 4-1/8 for the crawlbox

Uhh, no, he is ditching the chain driven t-case. So going to the gear driven t-case w/ dual makes it a little shorter.

In looking again at the pic you posted red, i am not sure if there is much differencwe between them I never really measured the chain vs gear driven cases :dunno: :thud:

Well thats what I was saying I figured it would be about 8" longer then a stock GEAR drive set up in a 79-95 toy. But I didn't know how much longer it would be in a T100.
