With a manual tranny and dual transfers, will the brakes stop an idling truck when in the lowest possible gears?

In my experience, with a standard 2.28X2.28 dual t-case---yes, but with a dual ultimate 2.28X4.7----no way!

I agree with Fred.  My brakes will kill my truck with my 2.28x2.28 cases.  My friend's breaks won't kill his toy with a dual ultimate.

I have dual 2.28x4.7 and when I step on the brakes it still inches forward not by much but you can tell it is moving.  what is really cool is that it doesnt kill the truck

You can however stop the vehicle for a second or so while the running gear catches up,,basicly stall the truck but not the motor,,but only for a second or so..
Forgiveness is between them and god..
Its my job to arrange the meeting!
