Unusual situation but my sister and her husband want to get married either in, or next to, the tower on Bald Mountain in June. 18th I think, but I am pretty sure it will be a Saturday morning.
The issue is getting people there. There will not be a ton of people; a couple dozen but none of them have 4x4's and many of them are older people of course. We are thinking about how to get them there quickly and easily.
We are thinking that the best way would be to caravan a group from the Tamarrak side since its a much easier and quicker trail. Coming from the Dinkey side with a few grandma's may not work
Setup some sort of park and ride in one of the campgrounds on Rock Creek Road close to the trailhead.
Anyway, I think that we may need some help with the transport and I do not know enough people I dont think to get everyone up without making a bunch of trips.
Anyone up to spending a June morning on the mountain transporting a bunch of strangers as carefully and calmly as possible back and forth the trail to the tower?? Beer, food will be provided!!
Preferably people with Runners, etc. that can haul a few people at a time rather than a bunch of single cab trucks.
