Yeah they are way bright. And Whiter. I noticed a huge difference.
Chris you should mount your rear rock lights on the body mount in front of the rear tire facing down like mine, they will make way more light.

I might. I also might just go and pick up another 2 and use them behind my rear tires. Kind of an over kill but oh well. Theyre only 55 watts so it isnt that much power drain from my alternator. I might get some silverstars once I buy other things for my truck. I used the screws that came with the lights in the back lights and they are like woodscrews :slap: I dont know what I was thinking but they are in nice and tight.

Just think, for every 10 watts you are drawing about 1 amp from your charging system.  Not a big deal till you add up everything.  One 55 watt light is 5.5 amps of draw.  Multiply that by 4 you get 22amps.  If you put 6 lights on there it would be 33 amps.  You might wanna check out what your alternator puts out before you go too overboard.

Cant forget my KC lights, stereo, 450 watt AMP, headlights, dash lights, tail lights, side markers and 4 rock lights... I think i have a 90 amp alternator but I am not sure. I probably should check into my charging system before I put anything else on my truck. The volt meter gauge doesnt go down that much when all that crap is on though. Next thing that I MIGHT do is another set of KC's. Thanks for the heads up White Trash.

Ive got a pair of lightforce lights on the front on the winchmount.  I used 6 typical 35 watt tractor lights, 2 of the same wal-marche` superwhite lights  over the front tires but they are getting remounted beings you can still see them.  I also have 2 TINY pilots in the rear by the axle.  Ill be adding a few more sets for different situations in the next few weeks.  Im not too worried about over running my charging system beings I never run all the lights at once.  Im pretty sure once its all done I could hit all the swithces and the truck would shut off. :gap:

I have one in each door and one pointed at each drive line ..I really like the door lights.had doubts at 1st .There handy and protected..fun to have also..they can fold down for more light down or out more from inside the rig..
I want them in my full doors now,,but the window is in the way.

Forgiveness is between them and god..

I just picked up some cheap fog lights at Harbor Freight.  They are 55 watt, H3 bulbs (upgradeable to 100W).  One pair cost me $8    They are rectangle and a little bigger than the ProBurners used at the top of the thread.  Should work great for rock lights  :usa:

kinda alot of input already in but ill add my 2 cents also.... im running the same damn lights in the front under my fenders and in  the rear under my flatbed,,, also running two other 3 inch 4 inch round lights aiming strait down for light if i break at night..   helps to add a light under the hood..   just an idea   and if u do do it   make sure u run some kinda on off switch under the hood...

also one more big thing......MAKE SURE U DONT GET THEM LIGHTS WET WHEN THEY ARE ON OR HOT.. THEY WILL CRACK.. TRUST ME    I KNOW FROM RUNNING THRU RIVER CROSSINGS
i just cut a guys 4x4 in half and he didnt even put up a fight.

FRENCHBLUE72

I bought some of em and shattered the glass lenses first rip out.. The really do need a guard or cover for them to last long.. Looks good as rock lights mine were pointed forward..

Mine are doing good now. They stopped fillin up with water so Im good there. Its their design and since they are cheap im sure thats why it fills up. My KC lights dont get any water but they are a high quality and dont see as much water as the rocklights do though.

I think the only spot the water is getting in is where the cables go into the housing. Im going to fill that with silicone.

how many watts are a set of stock sylvania headlights? I have 2 to 3 pairs lying around, and, since I'm REALLY cheap, I was thinking of using them for rocklights. Any info, input, STFU DB comments?
