I haven't been able to find info on how much stronger dimpled material is than non dimpled. Can anyone help. Is 1/8" dimpled as strong as 3/16",1/4" o r 3/8" that hasn't been dimpled. Can anyone give some specifics. A bit more than a round about would really be great.

not sure the % but dimpled hols wwill make the same holes that are punched ALOT stonger. anytime you add a bend to a piece of steel, it makes it that much harder to bend or twist that steel, especially if its a circle. im gonna guess its gonna be stronger by at least half again, 50-70%

I understand that, Im just curious to know if 1/8" then becomes as strong as 1/4" or what. I am aware that this would also depend on the number of dimples, etc.

Maybe try to find someone running solidworks?  I would have my friend run some stress tests on the examples you mentioned but I don't think he has the program anymore. It could give you an idea though if you can find someone who has it  :twocents:
