Both my front and rear pinions. are leeking. (when driveshaft was removed, oil dripped out).

What should I be aware off when I change those seals? how is the best way to do this?
Do you guys know of an article or website where I can read about stuff like that?

Pinion seals are easy to change.  It takes a 30mm(?) socket to remove the pinion nut.  The seal is really easy to get out and replace with a new one beings it is rather large.  If you have a crush sleeve between the inner and outer bearings on the pinion you should replace it, but i never do and i have yet to have a faliure because of that.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

But doesn´t removing the pinion nut, change the settings of the drive?

Shouldn´t the nut be tightened to a special load??? or does´t it mather???

no, it should not, it will affect your bearing preload when you tighten the nut should the crush collar(if used instead of the solid spacer) crush more if tightened to about 150lbs/ft.  use a new nut if you can. before you take the nut off, rotate the prop flange and get a" feel of the preload" on the bearing /this helps if you dont have the pull scale in in/lbs.. be careful when your about to install the oil seal cuz the pinion will be loose somewhat in the case, and it will drop in some and might chip a tooth. rotate the flange as you install the nut for final assy/torque. oh btw about your leaks in the pinon seal make sure that your axle vents are not gooped up and not venting--might cause the oil leak....happened to couple of my friends trucks...just my  :twocents:
