Custom Dashboard
« on: Jan 30, 2011, 08:10:28 PM »
not sure where to post this, so im posting it here..

planning on building a custom fiberglass dash, my question is, what to put in the dash?(gauges, switches, ECT..)

as of this moment, I'm putting in a SR5 gauge cluster, radio, a CB radio, glove box, switch panel, and a spot for 3 more gauges where the middle AC vents would be.

anyone have advise on what else a dash would need a spot for?

thanks in advance guys

Ideal set up IMO would be speedo sr5 cluster with a 3 gauge pillar setup with vaccum, possibly nitrous gauge and a boost gauge, then at least 3 switches for rock light, switches for lockers, maybe a winch switch, interior light switch, then cb, sterio, glove box, slide out cubholders

im going to run a 22rte in the runner, so the plan for gauges is the SR5 turbo cluster, 3 gauge pillar with boost/vac, air fuel ratio, and egt gauge. the 3 or 4 in the dash would be oil pressure, fuel pressure, and some other ones i cant think of. but that brings something else to mind. a boost controller.

*edit*
i guess a clock would be the only other gauge id need, or oil temp.
