What do Noisy run gears sound like?

Can somebody tell me what the noisey run t-case gears sound like, I'm pretty sure it's my crawl box gears it's from an 81 but don't actualy no what they are supposed to sound like.

The four toy i have driven in all have dual transfer cases that are loud.  they sound like the gears aren't meshing properly.  But i guess that is just the way they are.  I just turn the cd player up and ignore it.

Thanks that's what mine sound like, niosey gears I didn't here it before I put my gears in cause I had to rev the motor so much, now I hear. Deosn't sound like a big deal

Nope.  I have a friend named Jessie Duarte, he got marlin dual cases.  He didn't like the noise the gears made so he took it apart and put brand new bearing in.  Still sounded the same.  He wasted all that money for nothing.
