All-Pro transfer case e-brake
« on: Jan 09, 2011, 09:50:43 PM »
I'm considering All-Pro's t-case e-brake with their crossmember. Does anyone have this kit or have experienced it? Just trying to gather as much info as possible before purchase. Please give me you inputs, thanks.

Been looking at getting one. I want to run a rotated case though.

I use the disk with a custom caliper, works great.  Don't accidentally leave it on, or you'll be buying new pads at $90.

I have a mc07 r10  and the AP e brake and it works fine  I also have left the brake on a time or two :smack: I was told you can buy new pads for around 25.00 insted of the 90.00 elsewhere  there is a thred on here that has been going around about the pad numbers they are from a golfcart or something of that nature

They are really awsome!  I have one on my '94 and it is so cool to lock the entire drivetrain.  I can literally drive 4 feet up a tree and park it there if I want to.  You get such a good hold since the brake gets the advantage of the gear reduction at your ring and pinions.  Buy it you will love it!

Please do not do that!!! Trails are getting closed fast enough without giving them more ammunition.

I have been running one for a few years and it works great. It even works better since I chucked the disc in the lathe and cut all the mill scale off of it.

4 feet up a church wall, that's OK with me.

It is not us guys that we have to worry about, It is those guys with the "deep pockets" that we have to worry about. You do know that they monitor this type of web pages looking for ammunition to use in their cases. I am glad it is on your property, because if they have their way, that will be the only place to wheel.

You have a point there...  We all have to watch what we say since it hangs in space forever, especially on the internet.  We should all go back to CB radios, at least then it's not in print :).  On the private property thing; I am scheming to buy up some more land in a few years and start an off road park up here.  There is vast untapped potential up here in the "worthless" badland areas and coulees that the farmers can't and don't use.

Make sure there are not any Nat's on the property that are on the endangered species list, god knows what they might contribute to the world. :hammerhead:
