Topic: Speedo gear Question

I just finished switching my 94 2wd to a 4wd SAS using all 85 running gear. My problem is that the speedo sending unit from my 94 is electronic and does not fit into the 85 t-case. also the wire is not long enough to reach the t-case. Willa speedo sending unit from a 94 4x4 work or is there an adapter of some kind to make it work for the older style??

BTW, I am running dual cases, so that means the wire will have to even longer!!
