that should be a G54 tranny,  is it a efi or carb??

i'll have to take another look but i know its either a w56 or a g54. completely stock except for the bumpers. the local toyota shop told me that the stock manual tranny was a w56 so i'll have to check it out. the engine is efi

i took a look under the hood and its a w56 tranny. nice to know that theres other people in texas who like toyota trucks for off road. most the guys i know say that unless its a chevy or a ford its terrible off road. one funny wheeling incident a friend of mine got his 82 chevy pickup stuck in the mud halfway up his doors when this other guy from san angelo passed by him in a 85 sr5 pickup in reverse. showed my friend what toyo's can do basicly stock except for add bigger tires

sry i havent been able to post any pics up yet, been busy fixing up my suburban so i can sell it. once that old tank is gone i'll have the money to fix up this 4 runner, get it ready to roll around again. my neighbor said that he hasnt touched it in 4 years so its in BAD shape! luckily he let me see if i could start it and by puttin gas directly in each cylinder and a new battery it actually started up! unfortunatly he left all the fluids in it for the past 4 years so the gas has turned into some kind of jello, really nasty
