It's still a pickup truck.
I still have to haul stuff in it.

New pics
Did a little more work, and now have:
RUF's with new mounts at both ends
beefed the front crossmember
plated the frame from the front to the middle body mount
High steer
f-150 rear springs with new mounts both ends
Sliders
New grill

that is amazing!  ive yet to see one like this or anything like it.  it looks rely good!
We are the ones that still remain when all is laid to waste!

Hey, your front bumper looks great.  Could you get me some more pics of it?  I have an 8274 also and am looking for mounting/design ideas.

I started with a bumper that was off a f-150, chopped it up and went from there.
There are more pictures on my build thread, the link is at the top of the page.

Yeah I went through the build thread.  What I was mostly interested in was how you mounted it to the frame/crossmember.

I used the 4 stock holes in the front crossmember, this is not the best picture but under the winch box you can see the tabs for the mounting bolts. I'll try to dig up a better picture later.

I doesn't seem like the best solution but there is no flex at all and now that I wrapped the crossmember with plate it should be plenty strong.
It's all on the four 14mm grade 8 bolts

Got some finished pics of the grill with the winch on

I got the idea off ih8mud in the fj80 forums and made one for my 80 as well.
