Colorado Springs, CO

We drove around looking for stuff like this as well!

It makes me sad to see the lack of driving skills people show on snow and ice.   I realize that anyone can make a mistake but there's little excuse for 4wd vehicles to be in the mess.  Also, why don't people ever try letting off the brake and using the throttle to steer?  The next step is to choose a different route if it's beyond your still level or already full of cars.

We had a nasty store where I live a while back and I took the route home that wouldn't have any traffice and also had a backup plan in case a couple of the hills looked to slick for my 4wd Sequoia.

By the way, I grew up in the Springs but can't place the location of the video.  What cross streets is it near?

It was on about South Carefree and Powers. It's a fairly steep hill. From the looks of the video nobody was using chains, not sure about the 4wd.

Drove by the road earlier and there were still cars smashed up and left there such as the red minivan and the cars around it.
