Im selling my 85 toyota extra cab truck that I built up from stock. This truck was my daily driver up until the engine started running rough now I need to get a more practical vehicle to get to school with. The truck has been rolled, I fixed the roof put a new windshield in and plexiglass sun roof the is weather tight. The body is rough and there is no interior but I like being able to hose it out anyways.
What its got:
-truck has 211,000 on the od about 50,000 on motor
-Recent new radiator, battery, alternator, new brakes all around
-front springs are rears up front with Marlin leafs mixed in, Rear springs are marlin USA 4inch long travel leafs
-Marlin front spring hanger shackles and leaf mounts
-Wide ifs rear axle With all new bearings seals and brakes, Marlin diff armor
-85 front axle fully trussed with knuckle gussets. Full knuckle rebuild with wheel bearings big v6 calipers and vented rotors, Marlin diff armor
-Heavy duty rear driveshaft built by high angle driveline, Square tube front drive shaft
- 35" Remington Mud Brutes 80% tread on black steel rock crawler wheels
-Marlin dual ultimate t-cases, 23 spiline between cases with 4.7 gears in rear case, twin sticks, front range crossmember
-Marlin shock hoops, 14 inch bilstiens in front 12" bilstien reservoir shocks in the back with custom shock hoop
-steel braided brakelines
-Flexilite Black Magic electric fan
Truck ran great until it started to run rough, I think its a spark problem but I don't have time to look into it. It has 4.10 gear open front and rear right now but I have a rear v6 third with full Detroit locker and 5.29's that will come with the truck. I have another open 5.29 third but the ring gear has a couple chips. Spare doors, all my spare parts, Warn m6000 winch and a trail gear rebuilt steering box drilled and tapped for hydro assist also comes with the truck.
The Bad:
-Tranny pops out of reverse (forward gears work perfect)
-one of the transfer case housings has a crack in it. I fixed it with jb weld over a year ago and is still holding fine.
-needs new front spring bushings
-front birfields need to be put back in (I had planned to do this once I got my 5.29 gears back in)
