Yes, the 4x4 fenders will bolt right up to the 2wd, though you will need to also swap the 4wd inner fender stay(the lower front corner of the bumper bolts to it, as well as the bumper end-caps and the ends of the valance, and it bolts to the inner metal fender).  The 2wd valance can be re-used if you bend it a little, but you will need a 4wd bumper and end-caps for it to look right, the 2wd bumper is a little end-caps are narrower, and the 2wd bumper is a little shorter than the 4x4, other than this everything else like the marker lights and turn signals are the same.  If you can't come across 4x4 plastic fender liners, you can re-use the 2wd one.  On the truck below, I just unscrewed it, moved it out to the edge of the fender and drilled new holes in the plastic liner to match the 4x4 fender tabs.  I then took a heat gun to reform the plastic liner so that it wouldn't be seen from the side and so that it would conform to the metal inner fender better, then used a few bolts(could usesheet metal screws) through the inner metal fender to hold the plastic liner along the inner edge along.

I think the set-up looks alright, the 4x fenders give the 2wd a more aggressive stance, and allows you to run a wider rim/tire combo.  The rims on this '84 are 15x8's w/245x60/15 tires.

I will take some side pics tomorrow.

Thanks, it is a project I was putting together for a nephew, but he decided since it doesn't have A/C he didn't want it, so now I will sell it.  I picked it up for $350 w/a broken t-chain, just about every corner had suffered some type of impact, and the blue paint was beyond restoring, but the interior was relatively intact, just needed a lot of TLC.

The same generation fenders will work on either a 2wd or 4wd truck.

For reference, the front 4x4 fenders are about 2" wider than the 2wd, and the wheel well opening is a bit wider as well.  The rear fenders on the the 4x4 bed are also wider, by about 1.5".  The 2wd truck above has the 4x4 bed on it.
