no spark 2rz

So, as part of an extensive remodel I had the rig torn down for about 3 months. Its a 86 Pu with a 96 2rz (non coil pack) engine. Durring the remodel I had the battery that services the engine completely removed, however I DID NOT disconect the ecu . The engine ran perfectly prior to this. Now that I'm all wrapped up with my project I put all the wires back in there respective homes and.......no dice.
1.Power to the cab, check
2.Test the ecu plugs for power, check
3.Fuel, check
4.Check for spark on ALL cylinders, NO DICE

Start operation back track

1. Check ecu for burnt stuff, looks/smells good
2. Check electrical connections and supplies, tight and powered up
3. Start from plugs back looking for power. Distributor Has a harness plug running to it with 4 wires. Facing the rig reading left to right the first two have power that is not interupted by engine cranking the other 2 gots nothing.

I am at the end of my automotive experience....help
