Did you see that there's a $10.00 charge/donation this year? The news came out in "the inside line" official newsletter of ultra 4 racing as of Dec 21st.

Sounds like a great idea to me...we need to stay "ahead" on these land use issues.

I would have no problem paying $10 for KOH. I think I saw somewhere it's not mandatory to pay, so if you really don't want to you don't have to.

not mandatory, but it does get you into hammer town everynight for all the events, where as if you don't pay, you don't get in.  It's a minimal fee for a great cause

ill be going.
isn't LCQ the day before the race. so is LCQ the 10th?

im thinking of bringing my crawler but i dont want to be stuck in a traffic jam. would i be better off taking my KTM to play in the desert and get me to the activity versus taking the crawler?

in other words< how clogged were the trails last year?

LCQ runs are on tuesday and wednesday, the 8th and 9th, with race day on the 11th.  not all, but a few select trails are closed off for the LCQ and all are closed for race.  the trails aren't too congested.  we ran 3 trails last year during the week.  ran into some traffic, but it wasn't bad at all.  take both your rig and your bike!

Cool. My wheeler is an 80 series on tons and I broke the ring gear on my dana 70 last month.  I need to get new gears put on her asap. My 80 is on the my trailer right now ready to be towed somewhere. Where is the best shop to do my gear fix over there in fresno? You know if marlin would do a d70?

Ill be there. Again Sunday to sunday pitting for the 4466 car of Kirby racing.     Sleeping in a tent wasn't bad last year. It only got down to the 30s at night.  I was just at the hammers for new years and Thanksgiving  It was. Cold.   In the teens.  So this year will be different maybe.     The trails aren't to bad as long as u stay of the easier ones.  Like claw they get clogged. Last year sat after the race we ran 3 trails.

Lets shoot fireballs at it !!

OH man, we're  gonna get so  busted!!!
