I have an 84' xtra cab mainly stock with the exception of gears, lockers, Super Crappy 3" lift and a Marlin 4.70 transfer case. My question Is I will soon be coming Into a little money and would like to spend It wisely as possible I really want a super cool, flexy, Marlin lift front and rear but I don't have that much money. My question Is should I get Marlin's high steer with the cash I have and If so how will this effect my future Installation of Marlin's front spring hanger and front springs. Basically where exactly should I mount the steering box?  Thanks In advance!!!!

Yup doing the steering first will be fine.  Just move the box as far as you can without any major hacking and it'll be fine.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

I agree with WT.  Just move the box as far forward as you can without hitting the radiator/radiator support and you'll be fine.

Most people will say no but Im a bit different, yes it will work.  IF you use a different pitman arm that will clear the springs and even then you will have about 1" of uptravel.  You would also have to put in some bumpstops as to not bend the tierod and draglink on the frame and springs.

Thanks, I guess I'll wait to get the suspension in first.

You need a 3" lift to run crossover steering. There is no need to change the position of the steering box, just install the IFS box up against the body mount and it will work with both the springs your running now and the Marlin springs. Also adding rear shackles will add to your lift if your worried about not having the lift to clear the springs your using now.
