Just a feeler for a friend, what would you pay for 85 with diesel reg

Its a 1985 long bed, bobbed 17" (clean), 7MGE (needs work but drive able),  5 speed, single stock case, IFS box with Hi-Steer, 4.88's, Detroit locker Rear, Tru Trac Front,  Fuel tank relocated under tool box, bald 33's, needs a little fender work and paint.. 

My buddy has it stored in my yard, I hope he gets rid of it, cause he's doing nothing with it.  Just thought I could give him real world #'s.  Remember it was a Diesel and has diesel registration, its endless what you could do with NO-SMOG.

So is it a diesel or did it use to be a diesel? Cause 7MGE thought was from Toyota cars and was a gas??

it came off the assembly line as a diesal and he put the 7mgte gas motor in it

very very strange, I was almost positve that america did not get any 4x4 diesels. Thats a rare truck.

there only  a few of those in town.. proly like 1800 ish..way more if he cleaned it up
