Soooo I thought I'd  start a thread now since i finally got a well paying job and steady hours. the goal is to build it to my taste. Going the desert way on it since I'm addicted to the dust!

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with the truck as is but the suspension is so limited. It's probably gonna take me a while to build it but I hope to start collecting parts here soon!

how are you liking the rear springs under?

Their much better for high speed running and jumping. Less axle wrap and less strain on the springs themselves. Crawling I'd keep with spring over but desert running it's a smart idea to be spring under

Soo sorry for lack of updates been busy working hanging with the girl working on the international street truck. I haven't had a chance to paint the fenders cuz it's to cold, I ordered up some seats because my back has been yelling at me the last few times I've been wheeling

Ahh yes it's my budget truck build been workin on it in my free time it's getting droped about 8 inches converting to disck in front idk what exactly what I'm gonna do with it yet

Sweet! I have a big thing for old Internationals. They are such good looking trucks. Either way, liking both your projects. Post more pics of the International as you make progress. As soon as I find a decent one for a good price I'm going to swoop one up and toss it in the project pile.

Yeah just watch out for rust it can be a huge issue on these ol IH's  I got lucky with this one. Just exterior and small floor rust I'm looking for a hood fenders and tailgate right now but I'm not concerned about the looks right now

Yeah, most of the ones I've checked out were rustbuckets. Hoping to find one thats not super rusted out. Not really a priority, I just kind of check them out as I happen upon them.
