alright, im my 89 toy 4 cyl efi, there is a weird ass clicking noise i could hear under the hood, so i popped the hood up, and i noticed it was coming from my ignitor... i looked closley, and there are visual electric currents going from my coil wire to the 2 little nuts that come off the ignitor... and everytimte the current stops, my idle changes... i changed coil wires and the problem is still occuring... what should i do?

You need to provide some sort of isolation between the coil wire and the nuts.  Step one is clean the area real good with soap and water and dry it well.  Check for any contamination or corrosion and get it all off.  Try some RTV (silicone) or electrical connector booties on the cleaned nuts.

If you want to REALLY screw with some one, use a pencil and draw lines inside the distributor cap.  Electricity will follow graphite!

if there is a trail burned already, you will have to change the coil too.

Sounds fishy. Just hit your local wrecking yard and dish out $20 for a used coil & ignitor and get on with it

When I got my 94 it ran funny like that is what I had to do to fix it.
