So this isn't one of those what is this noise, and what could it be topics!... Just wanted to get a poll on how long you think a through bearing will last once it starts making noise

Which bearing? Pinion bearing, wheel bearing, crankshaft bearing, connecting rod bearing, output shaft bearing, skateboard bearing???

believe he mean throwout bearing. If so, i dunno, maybe 100 miles, maybe 10000, hit or miss with bearings really. Buds went out in his v6 mustang, sounded horrible all o sudden, but no change in driving, made it to the shop.

could be 5 miles, could be 5000.  Hard to tell.
