E-locker Truck side connector (TRD)
« on: Oct 13, 2010, 07:16:31 PM »
I am looking for the connector that goes on the frame... I would prefer to not cut my diff harness.

if anyone knows where I can buy one for cheap let me know...

I will probably end up calling the Yota man in denver and see if he has one.

If your looking for the harness that goes from the e locker harness to the e locker computer then your not gonna find a factory one.  The harness itself is combined with other stuff like abs fuel.  When I got my harness I had to strip it apart to get rid of the stuff I didnt need.  Then I had to connect 5 wires that were not color coded the same.  It wasnt hard but a little time consuming.  Much much quicker to make your own.

All I want is the connector and about 6" of harness. I still need to buy the 6 conductor trailer wire.

If you want the connect that goes from e locker to the main harness then Marlin has them. Oem ones to boot.  Also I hate to say it but 12vguy.com has the whole kit.

I have this harness
http://www.marlincrawler.com/air-electronics/wiring-harness/electric-locker-wiring-harness

I want the connector that that harness connects to, its commonly cut and spliced to custom wiring. I want to have the connector that it connects to and do my own wiring there...

basically, I dont want to cut the $40 harness, I would rather cut the plug off the TRD truck and use that for my custom wiring.

YES, Thats the harness side connector I want... I dont need nor want the whole harness. Just the e-locker plug that connects to the e-locker harness.

There are tacoma guys who make thier trucks into TRD trucks with the whole harness but I just want the connector and like 6" of the harness so I can splice my own wires in.
