had to drive home from sac to VV (45 miles or so) with a ratchet strap holding my door shut.

The rock pushed in the extended cab part, pulling the door latch back so it wouldnt latch. Ruger and I pulled the door apart thinkin it was the latch, took us about 30 minutes to play with the latch, and find out it was working (and hammered out some of the door dents) and then realized what the problem was, 5 minutes later and 8 washers (2 per bolt) used as spacers on the latch to cab mount, and the door closes again

Now I just have to grind down the bondo that I was unaware was on the drivers side

, and repaint it.

Rock sliders are next up on the shopping list

Is that what you were doing when I finally left Prarie City?? I saw you messin with the door but it shut when i was still there

I think so, fisr time I've been out there in like 4 years, and thattime it was with someone else. It was the biggest pile I saw, so I think that is the the one you are talkin about. More pics to come once I get to use my own computer, (had to fix wafflers)

that'll happen this summer hopefully. I have someone who is gonna teach me how to weld, So I'll be building some sliders, and I think he'll weld up the hangers for me. Then all I gotta do is collect some parts

2nd time I ever really crawled on some rocks. I've done my share of muddin, and my share of trail running, but very little rock crawling. IT IS ADDICTIVE!!! I wanna go do it again

IFS worked for that like

The guy with the white taco we met there, I have some more pics, just havent resized them yet. He had a 60 in the rear, and a 79 F250 front axle with 35"s thing was sweet!!
