I have a flat belly on my 4runner, 22RE, W56, duals with 4.7's. The drive train is now flat, to slightly raised in the back.
I read on Pirate that this can make oiling hard for the output bearing on the tcase. Is this so, and if so, will something like the 30 spline conversion help out (IE bigger bearing)?
I need to replace the output seal and bearing (flange moves just a bit and its noisy), plus the seal is leaking now due to a hard driveshaft hit. I'm just looking to see if the upgraded bearing will oil easier because it is larger (easier for oil to flow in and out).
