Yea, you won't have a 160 if you bought the mileage/high altitude kit.  That's pretty fat jetting.  At what elevation are you?  Does it come with a chart that shows which jets should be matched with what?

And where'd you get your starter... and please don't say kragen/schucks/vatozone/o'reilly's.

My first post says Columbus, ohio but im not sure the elevation. The kit didnt come with a chart and yes. The shitty starter came from autozone. This was the 4th replacement before the year warranty was up. Im trying to get ahold of a guy locally that has a used factory one for 25 bux that im gonna pick up from him.

Alright guys, my starter had just gotten hot is all. She's alive again. I played around with my mixture this morning and I can get it to idle good and free rev pretty well, but as soon as I drive it, it gets ugly. As long as I'm driving really slow at a idle it's fine, but when I try to accelerate easily or hard it starves for fuel and dies. If I turn the psi on my fpr up to about 5 it runs ok, but still has a stumble when you floor it. Why can't I lose the fpr and jet it down? It ran a ton better without the fpr anyways??

Ok guys, I got a quick update for you. I pulled the fpr off and changed my fuel jets from 145p and 150s to the 140p and 145s. I also advanced my timing a bit and she's running pretty good now. No more stumble when you smash on the gas either. Made it much more drivable and I didn't have any stahling issues.

Mine didn't appreciate having a fpr on it.  Wasn't able to keep up at higher load, despite where the float was set.

Mine absolutely hates the fpr no materr what anything is set at. Hopefully my fuel mileage will go up past 14 with the smaller jets in it and more timing added.

I think I had 140/145 in an attempt to gain better mileage, but found myself constantly having to dip into the secondary cause it wouldn't get out of it's own way, and was burning through gas quickly.  Went back to 150/155 or 155/160 and it has more balls now, but I've only gone through one tank and can't afford to top it off yet to figure my mileage.  Kinda hard to figure out for sure though since my tires are 6" taller than stock and I have a slightly taller rear ratio than stock too  :haha:

Oops, said ration instead of ratio.  Only way I can figure my mileage for sure is if I had a gps or could easily track how far I actually go.

Of the few 4wd toyotas I've had, most have pulled about 15 mpg stock.
