I talked to Dan at ruffstuff and he thinks the new diff cover is gonna make it worse.

really? for some reason i think you can avoid that. maybe push your axle out like 3/4in?

If anything it would need to be pushed back in 3/4in. I was thinking about building a box structure that will come out off the axle and then go up, I'm not sure if I can make it clear the draglink though.

Build a new bracket altogether for that panhard. That thing wont work.

well if i were you id get your drag link setup in there and have that thing steering left to right on jack stands. that will show you all the room you got. the problem with buying some brackets pre-made is they have to be modded or they just wont end up working. everything is custom. i think your going to have to make a custom bracket your panhard to work for you.

can you rotate the PH bracket back a little? looks like that would make it more parellel with the DL and get it away from the dif a little more????

No, it contacts the diff even more as the bracket is rotated up.

NM it looks like it might get worse if you did that, might need to go back and get taller at the same time

I was thinking about making something similar to this, to kick it out and up to clear the diff. http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/Offset-Panhard-Tracbar-mount_p_1629.html   It's gonna be kinda hard to keep the draglink and panhard parallel to eachother without bending the ph.

I though it didnt matter if it had a bend in it, just as long as the mounting points where perellel (the pivoting points?)

like a shackle, some think the boomerang shackles change your shackle angle, but its still the same, the angle is messured from bolt to bolt,

is it the same when it comes to links, joint to joint?

Ya it is the same thing. I mean if I make my own bracket it's gonna a little tricky to make them parallel, i'm almost just considering putting a bushing on one end of the panhard and bending it.

I put the axle to full stuff, and I am pretty sure i'm gonna have to bend the panhard. I'm struggling on the draglink also. SO any suggestions on making the panhard fit?

you got this pic again but turned full driver side?

Whats this distance? to center of tube. Put the tube where you need it before you measure. Also what mounting width are you using and what size bolt?

it really only needs to be kicked out from the center of the axle tube an 1 1/2" to 2", And it needs to be 6 1/2" tall. I am using a 2" mounting width with 5/8 bolt hole. Heres a few more pictures, I kicked the tube back up and on top of the diff rather than in front to allow for more draglink clearance. It is a tight fit but the worst thats gonna happen is the ph barely touches the diff or frame, wich I can fix with my bumpstops.

Ya, Well I was thinking I was gonna kick it out in front of the diff until I realized the draglink would be hitting it there. So I took a look and as you can see from the pictuures it fits better on top of the axle were its far away from the draglink and clears the frame and axle by a 1/2" each. Making it a relatively simple bracket, the one I have just doesn't have enough axle seperation to get it up 6 1/2".

get this thing at full bump and full lock with the drag link in and made! youll know exactly what the trucks doing under a situation like that (which will never happen) and youll be able to design your bracket right there for the panhard bar.

The axle is at full bump in the last pictures. Panhard is going to go on top of the diff like I am holding it in the last set of pictures, draglink isn't going to get near were the bracket will be.  And I sent you a pm about the draglink.

sorry, its just hard to tell in your pictures cause some of them are above or close up. wash those hands up and take that nice camera out there for a few snaps and go put it back inside the house. it wont get hurt.

heres mine. now the steering is totally accurate in those pictures cause i built tabs off the high steer arms so i can run the tie rod up 6" or so from stock location.

Ya i'm gonna get better pictures next itme I go down to work on the truck.
God dang, your tie rod location is sick as flop :shake: I might have to go to something like that so I can get my hydro assist on. It's gonna be ahard to make a strong mount with the tie rod in stock location.

Woow man that thing looks clean! 10x cleaner than what I was going to slap together. Whats the final measurements on it, as far as how far it is offset and how much axle seperation does it have?

ya me to. It's hard to say without looking at it on the axle, where was the panhard gonna be when you put it on the axle?
And I am running heims on my steering.
