96-04 tacoma transfer case

Do the v6 and 4 cyl the use the same transfer case? 
-11 Nissan Titan Crew cab Pro-4x (factory rear locker) - New work truck/tow Rig

The case is the same but the 4cyl models have a 30 spline input; V6's have 23 spline. I'm about 90% sure on this. Doesn't make sense because I think the V6 should have the 30 spline and 4cyl should have 23 but whatever, that's how Toyota designed it.

i think the 4cyl is 26 spline. but ya they are different for sure.
