BeccaLoo24 – i can toss grown men.... so dont doubt me
Davez from davezoffroad runs it, I myself will be getting one nexttime I do my knuckles, as it comes with a knuckle service kit, heard good things on pirate about em. Just need to grease em frequently with town driving i hear
Do trunnion bearings go out that often?
even the toyota Japanese bearing will fail with wheel spacers, big off set wheels, hydraulic assist and huge tires.. the chinese stuff is far inferior though.. I like the idea of the kit they have but not going to try them out
I was thinking about getting them but will probably wait until more info comes out about them. They seem like a good idea, but are still relatively new.
I too like the idea but after seeing one in person, a quick look, they don't look like they would hold grease too well. That's my only real concern with them
you mean between the kingpin and the seat?
I also recently asked dave (from pirate) how his was eliminator was holding up and he said it was working fine.
Yeah.
Why go through all this trouble with the stock axles? Just swap it out for a 60 that has been geared/gone through and be done with it. No more problems.
now i really know nothing about these, but are the bearings really that bad? i know for darn sure toyota spent a lot more money on that axle designing their system than trail-gear did trying to make this product.... i would trust toyota's oem process and research and development a lot more.... maybe that is just me though :scratchhead:
