I haven't been online in awhile, so I thought I'd drop in to harass you for some updates on this exquisite rig!

I was wondering where the heck you were. .  Not that I have been very active here myself but it's pretty quiet in this part of the forum lately. ...the short story is most of what I did to the cruiser last year is getting undone. ..  the polyurethane motor and tranny mounts on a 30 year old diesel engine were a horrible idea. ..  I am just getting into the truck this week and am switching everthing back to the toyota rubber mounts.. also, ever sinse I put the turbo on my underhood Temps are through the roof. ..  and because of the horrible vibrations and excess heat we were cooking our optima batteries and it eventually took out the alternator. .  So we ended up doing the other 7000 kilometers without an alternator and just boosted the truck with a spare set of batteries every day. ...  also , the excessive vibrations literally shook the truck apart and caused bolts to loosen and other things to break. .   The truck will be ready to go again hopefully in the next 2 weeks and we are coming down again to the marlin roundup. ..    so this round of mods includes changing all of my motor and tranny mounts back to factory rubber ones, buildings a battery box and pitting the batteries in the front of the box and then install some rock lights.
