Turbo R151 F
« on: Jul 17, 2010, 01:40:57 PM »
Hello, I have a Turbo R 151 F transmission with no bellhousing and no transfer case. I also have a 1988 toyota 4x4 extended cab 22re with a G-52 Tranny with a forward shift transfer case. I would like to subsutute the R 151 for the G-52. I was wondering if the bellhousing on the G-52 would work on the turbo tranny and what would i have to do to get the transfer case to mate up? If not how would I make this work? Thanks.

well I know that you'll have to get a 23 spline tcase or the 23 spline kit from marlin and I dont think the G series bell housing will work on the R series.

assuming you have a swapped in G52 because the 88 truck with EFI came factory with a w56 or a G58
