Hey guys,

We are working on a ton of new products over here and I was able to take a couple quick pics of our short throw kits that we offer.

Transmissions:
We offer short throw kits for the following Toyota 4- and 5-speed transmissions
  • L45/50/52
  • G52/54/58
  • 2WD W-series transmissions
  • W56-A/W56-B/W56-C/W56-D/W56-E/
  • W59
  • R150F/R151F
  • 2WD R-series transmissions such as the R154 Supra & Lexus 5-speed transmissions
Here are a few shifter bases and raiser plates for transmissions:

Transfer Cases:
We offer short throw kits for the following Toyota transfer cases:
  • 1979-95 Gear Drive (RF1A) both Top Shift and Forward Shift (using a double shift-base plate like the one shown above)
  • 1988+ Forward Shift Chain Drive (similar double shift-base plate shown above)
  • 1995+ Top Shift Chain Drive
Here are our top shift short throw bases as well as an optional billet block off plate with our Turtle Logo. The base on the left is for top shifting chain drive t/cases and the base on the right is for top shifting gear drive t/cases:

The amount of throw reduction is approximately 40-45%. All machined parts are made from 6061-T6 aluminum right here in California using only pure USA Billet. :usa: :turtle:

All kits are sold with our Heavy Duty shifter seats and sockets (as applicable) including out short throw top shift transfer case bases, as well as new Genuine Toyota shifter boots

Here is an example of what a kit will look like (note this model does not use a HD seat or socket):

Off-set and dog-leg modifications, as shown to the t/case shifter above, are also available to fit custom applications and body lift modifications.

As for pricing and ordering information, for the time being we are building these on an order-by-order basis. We have shift levers here that we can modify and send to you with the base or base riser plate, however for best results we recommend sending in your own shift lever(s) that we can modify and return to ensure you get the proper shift lever in the same location you are used to.

These kits are currently NOT available via online order. Please give us a call during normal business hours to discuss ordering and pricing information: (559) 25-CRAWL

Yup they will do that. I run a 3/4 short throw on my R150F and it makes it nice and tight but you can still feel the gears.

Is the L-52 short shifter kit still available?
I remember they were a year or so ago but I haven't ever seen them on the website but mentioned on another forum.

We had a few in stock and I believe we sold our last one. Now that the Formula Toyota series is dead no one seems to need L-short throw kits. I know CruzrDave just took his off, so it's possible we have a lightly used kit here, but not sure if it's spoken for. We already have all the CAD files, just need to see if there is enough support to make another run of em.

Regards,
BigMike
