new from central ohio
« on: Dec 19, 2004, 12:53:36 AM »
I have a recently retired 90 toy that was a sbc/350 turbo dual cases with 4.7, I'm sure Marlin will remeber me b/c I broke a 23 spline turbo input shaft.
Well that truck is a parts truck for my new 87 sr5 4runner that I picked up for $500 off of the original owner, yes it was a virgin and yes I took it out and bet it up real good in stock form so i could remeber how to drive without lockers and 36" tires. Every thing(minus motor and tranny) will go into the 4runner, high steer, warn 95tsi, trac bars, ag shafts, I'am planning on running my r150 v6 tranny behind the 4cyl. so i Don't have to change transfer case inputs. AND BY THE WAY MARLIN TOOK CARE OF THE BROKEN INPUT SHAFT. So if I forgot to thank him on the phone I'll thank him now Thanks Marlin
Went back to same place I broke and tried it again and it held, must ahve been a bad one from the factory

sorry don't  have a digital camra yet.(santa didn't bring one either) so no pics yet.Don't know if I'm smart enough to post them anyway, just think of what your truck would look like red with the pass side smashed from falling over more than a few times :)
